Frankfurt a.M. / Germany, September 16, 2017 – China Europe International Exchange AG (CEINEX) and the Research Institute of Machinery, Industry, Economy & Management (RIMIEM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Beijing to enhance mutual cooperation in the areas of Sino-German manufacturing industry and financial markets research. The cooperation aims to promote how financial markets can enhance the mutual real economy development. While initially catering for “Made in China 2025” and Germany`s “Industry 4.0” this is aimed at supporting manufacturing industry development in global markets.
Mr. XU Donghua, Dean of RIMIEM, commented: “Manufacturing Industry, especially equipment manufacturing industry, has become the new engine of China's economic development. In response to the Belt & Road Initiative, RIMIEM founded China & Germany Manufacturing and Capital Market Research Center of Powerful Nation Strategy Institute to promote the progress of Chinese equipment manufacturing worldwide, especially, the cooperation between China and Germany. Today, our institute signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CEINEX, to explore the technical cooperation by leveraging the European financial platform, thus to facilitate the transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry.”
